Every step of the way, Mojigao has grown in rhythm with the land— always guided by the natural environment. Instead of altering the jungle, we chose to work with it: preserving native trees, encouraging biodiversity, and letting the ecosystem shape the layout and soul of the space.

From the very beginning, natural materials have been at the heart of our design philosophy. Cottages were crafted with wood, stone, and earth-friendly finishes that blend seamlessly with the landscape, while lush gardens were planted to enrich the soil, attract birds and butterflies, and bring the jungle closer to every doorstep.

At Mojigao, sustainability is not a trend—it’s a way of life. Every element of the eco resort is designed to minimize our footprint and live in harmony with the environment. We’ve implemented a grey water recycling system that nourishes our gardens, and follow permaculture principles to support biodiversity, soil health, and natural water cycles. Our waste is carefully sorted and managed, with a strong focus on composting organic matter and recycling wherever possible.

We are committed to using eco-friendly and biodegradable materials throughout the property—from natural building supplies to the products we use daily. You’ll find minimal plastic on site, replaced by sustainable alternatives that are kinder to the earth. From our kitchen to our cottages, every detail is thoughtfully considered to ensure that Mojigao not only offers a peaceful escape for our guests but also protects and nurtures the land.
